The inaugural Festival of Cricket at Manuka Oval was a highly successful and enjoyable day of cricket comprising three matches featuring players from a broad cross section of the local community. The Festival of Cricket was developed as part of Cricket ACT’s Centenary celebrations.
The day was designed as a community event to raise funds for Automated External Defibrillators (AED’s) for local cricket clubs in conjunction with charity, Heart of the Nation.
The event was a wonderful chance to connect with the community through cricket, celebrate the ability to play at such a highly respected venue as Manuka Oval and create memories for everyone involved on the day.
