Kathryn Ross won the Women’s PR2 Single Scull gold at the 2019 World Rowing Championships in Austria.
Kathryn was Australia’s only individual gold medallist at
the Championships in either Olympic or Paralympic boat classes. She led the nal from the start, blitzing all comers to win by almost 20 seconds from second place.
The win capped off an extraordinary career, Kathryn undefeated in PR2 singles sculls in Australia since 2007 and the only Australian rower to have competed at three Paralympic Games.
