If downhill racers are the “rockstars” of the mountain bike world, then Erindale College’s Kye A’Hern is well and truly top of the charts in 2019.
In 2019 Kye took on the world and won at the UCI Junior Downhill Championships in Mont-Sainte-Anne, Canada, beating his nearest rival by over a second and bettering the silver that he claimed last year in Switzerland.
A two-time Australian Junior Champ, Kye became the first Australian to win the world title since 2011.
