In 2025, the Canberra Raiders would sit at the top of the NRL regular season ladder, a minor premiership last accomplished by the club 35 years ago.
Throughout the season, the Raiders overcame injuries, travel challenges, and external doubts, emerging as a united and resilient squad under Coach Ricky Stuart. Their success ignited the Canberra community, eager once more for finals football at GIO Canberra Stadium.
While the finals fairytale remains elusive, the club’s on-field success was recognised at the 2025 Dally M Awards, with Ricky Stuart named NRL Coach of the Year, Ethan Strange awarded Five-Eighth of the Year, and Hudson Young honoured as Second Rower of the Year.
