2023 saw 28 year old Jay Vine again riding with UAE Team Emirates. In a big start to the year, he clinched 1st Place in the individual time trial at the National Road Championships in Mount Helen in early January. Later that month he conquered the prestigious Santos Tour Down Under to emerge as the overall winner and secure two stage victories, along with impressive top three finishes in three other stages.
No stranger to the European circuit in 2023 Jay competed strongly in the Giro d ‘Italia and the Vuelta a Burgos. In the tour of Turkey his impressive record continued, winning the mountains classification coming 21st in points classification and taking the honours in the 160km Stage 7.
