Jeremy Paul

Jeremy Paul was born in Hamilton New Zealand and started playing Rugby at the age of twelve. He moved to Australia in 1991 to play for the Easts Tigers in Brisbane and then moved to Canberra in 1998 to play for the Brumbies. A school boy rugby league star, Paul moved quickly through the ranks to be one of the region’s most promising prospects by his late teens. After starring for the Australian Under 21s in 1997, Paul picked up a Brumbies Rugby contract for the 1998 season. While playing for the Brumbies Jeremy reached 112 caps , scored 120 points and made 24 tries. The New Zealand born hooker is one of seven players to have reached 100 caps for the Brumbies and has also represented the Wallabies on 72 occasions, scored 70 points and scored 14 tries. A prolific try-scorer in his day, Paul was awarded the John Eales Medal in 2005. Following his career in Australia, Paul joined Gloucester for the 2008 season before announcing his retirement from all forms of the game.   RUGBY Born: 14 March 1977 Inducted: 2013   Full Member
